"Lapis venit dē Graeciā antiquā," inquit Sextus, "aut sīc dīcunt scrīptōrēs antiquī. in urbe Troiae, scrīptōrēs scrībunt, 'Priāmus Lapidem potentiae habet. est in mūrīs.' tunc scrībunt, 'Aenēās habet Lapidem.' tunc scrībunt, 'Rōmulus Lapidem habet. est in mūrīs Rōmae.' sed nunc nēmō scit. ubi est Lapis? nēsciō. sed Marcus quoque nēscit!"
