Alexandrīae
Marcus Cilnius Maecēnās ē nāve in lītorem ēgressus lentē ad Mūsaeum ambulat. quōsdam virōs in Mūsaeō invenīre necesse est; dīcere quaedam dēbet dē clāde Pompēiōrum, rogatque quaedam dē rēbus antīquīs.
ubī negōtium in Mūsaeō confēctum est, incipit Marcus iter longum ad Societātis praetōrium, alte fossum in harēnīs prope pȳramīdēs. antequam autem contendit ad praetōrium, intrat in tabernam parvam, et quaerit mēnsam quandam, ubī explōrātor Potentium eum exspectat. sedet Marcus ad mēnsam, et inquit, "deinde quid invēnistī dē Recentiīs?"
inquit explōrātor, "Recentiī sunt in Aegyptō, ut timuistī. quaerunt vestīgia Lapidis."
Marcus respondit, "nolī timēre, ō amīce potēns. dē magistrīs Mūsaeī tandem invēnī modum quō servābimus Lapidem in aeternum."
