Octaviāna ad mūrum prīmum accessit et tabellās legere coepit. ūnam post alteram, ōrdine, sīcut discipula dīligēns.

 

prīma tabella erat dēcrētum dē aquīs pūblicīs. secunda erat dēdicātiō patrōnō oppidī. tertia erat index operum pūblicōrum, longus et nōn ūtilis. Octaviāna, legēns et prōcēdēns, iānuam quaerēbat. verbum iānua. verbum via. verbum lapis.

 

tum, in angulō forī, tabellam vīdit quae ā cēterīs differēbat. suprā hanc tabellam, in saxō sculptum, erat imāgō portae. nōn erat porta vēra. erat porta in saxō facta, sīcut pictūra.

 

sub portā, litterae erant.

 

Octaviāna stetit. haec tabella erat dīversa ab omnibus aliīs.
