"aquaeductus..." inquit, legēns. nihil dē iānuā. nihil dē lapide.

 

ā tergō, Sextus clāmāvit: "Octaviāna! nōnne iānuam vīdistī? suprā tabellam?"

 

Octaviāna sē vertit. porta saxea, illa imāgō, eam spectābat. vestīgium erat quod volūmen dēscrīpserat: iānua.

 

ad tabellam rediit.
