Sextus nōn īrātus erat. sed tempus premēbat. pumex maior in forō cecidit et in fragmenta frāctus est.

 

"spectāte," Sextus dīxit, et digitum ad verba posuit. "hīc: Aegyptō. hīc: sub terrā. hīc: Alexandrīam. hīc: cavum antīquum. intellegitisne? Potentēs sub terrā habitant, prope Alexandrīam."

 

digitum ad secundum lapidem mōvit. "et hīc: sīgnum. et hīc: cellam. sīgnum est nota sēcrēta. sine hāc notā, nēmō in cellam intrat. et: vōs interficimus." Sextus Recentiōs graviter respexit. "interficiunt. sine sīgnō, mors."

 

caelum iterum tremuit. saxum ē mūrō cecidit.

 

"satis," Sextus dīxit. "intellegitis. Lapis in Aegyptō est, sub terrā, prope Alexandrīam. sīgnum necesse est. nunc audīte quid hoc significet."
