Episode 5.1: Meet Sinistrus

 

"aliquid hīc malum est," inquit Bellātor. "mūrī nōn sunt rēctī. Caecilius nōn sīcut homō intrāvit. et tū—" Sinistrum spectāvit. "tū quoque nōn es rēctus."

 

Sinistrus stetit. prīmum in tōtō colloquiō, vultus eius vērē mūtātus est. nōn timor. aliquid aliud, sīcut homō quī rem nōtam videt.

 

"vōs videtis," inquit, vōce parvā.

 

tum sē rēxit. "plūrimī nōn vident. plūrimī ambulant et nōn rogant cūr mūrī nōn sunt rēctī. vōs rogātis. hoc est... rārum."

 

Recentiōs spectāvit. oculī eius nunc gravēs erant et sine rīsū. sed tum, sīcut homō quī iānuam apertam videt et eam claudit, sē composuit.

 

"sed dē hīs rēbus posteā," inquit, sē āvertēns. vōx eius iterum levis erat. tempus illud trānsiit.
