Episode 5.1: Meet Sinistrus

 

Caecilius surrēxit. "ignōscite, amīcī. ad culīnam eō. vīnum melius afferendum est!"

 

abiit. et statim ātrium mūtātum est.

 

angulī, quī iam falsī erant, falsiorēs factī sunt. mūrī sē lentē mōvēbant. umbrae in novīs locīs iacēbant. et Sinistrus ipse mūtātus est. vultus amīcus discessit. ōs eius nunc erat rēctum et frīgidum. oculī clārē et sine rīsū Recentiōs spectābant.

 

Sinistrus surrēxit. lentē per ātrium ambulāns, dīxit:

 

"nunc sōlī sumus. nōn opus est fābulīs."

 

tum, Recentiōs spectāns:

 

"sciō tuum labōrem."

 

silentium. Sinistrus prōcessit.

 

"vōs prō Sextō labōrātis. in immersīōnēs intrāvistis. ego haec omnia sciō."

 

verba in āere pendēbant. sēnsus ille malus, sīcut aliquid cadēns, nunc fortior erat.

A: Octaviāna rēspondet, "nōn intellegimus quid dīcis."

 

B: Octaviāna rēspondet, "ita. prō Sextō labōrāmus."

 

C: Bellātor rogat, "tū quid scīs? quōmodo haec scīs?"
