Episode 5.1: Meet Sinistrus

 

"ita," inquit Octaviāna. "prō Sextō labōrāmus."

 

Sinistrus stetit. oculōs aperuit, sīcut homō quī dōnum inexspectātum accēpit. "rārī sunt," vōce parvā dīxit, "quī vēra dīcunt."

 

sē ad Recentiōs vertit. vultus eius nunc calidior erat.

 

"ergō vōbīs quoque aliquid vērum dīcam," inquit. "ego quoque labōrō." lentē per ātrium ambulāns: "sed nōn prō Sextō. nōn prō imperātōre. nōn prō ūllō homine."

 

"prō quō, tum?" Bellātor rogāvit.

 

Sinistrus subrīsit et nihil respondit. sed vultus eius prō brevī tempore aliquid vērum ostendēbat: nōn erat simulātiō.
