adestis in āulā rēgiā. vir rēgius, scēptrum manū tenēns, cum cōnsiliāriīs verba facit. vir barbātus stat iuxtā vōs, et tacitē mussat. aliquis, inquit, id rem in Trōiā cēlat. is putat sē māgnam potestātem captūrum esse. quae est ista rēs? quae sunt ista facta?

 

Graecī aliī in āulā id nōn audiunt. dē hominis vēris cōnsiliīs nesciunt.

 

vir barbātus vōs prope iānuam videt et signum dat. "venīte," inquit, "cum reliquīs ducibus in āulā cōnsīdite. egō mox veniam."

 


Prompt: Choose a hero who might be present at the debate over whether to go to war with Troy. The only ones off limits are Agamemnon and Achilleus. Convince the others of your point of view.
