Episode 2.2.b

>Sextus's Villa, Pompeii, Italy, 79 CE<

"Good," Sextus says. "Then here is what I know, though it is only the beginning:

'Gaius Cilnius Maecenas writes a book. The book marks a place. In the place is a stone.'

"Now you know it too. What I need is the rest of it."

Marcus, he explains, keeps many scrolls at his villa, so the opening line is your key to finding the right one among them. He unfolds a map of Pompeii and points to a mark near the palaestra and the amphitheater.

"Marcus is wealthy and well-guarded," he says, "but guards at midnight tend to fall asleep. Go then. There will be one at the door, but Caecilius does business with Marcus, which means his clients can sometimes walk through that door without too many questions being asked."

He raises an eyebrow. "Tonight, you are clients of Caecilius. Will that serve?"

Prompt: Using your map and the TSTT NAV Device, plan a route to Marcus's villa that keeps you unseen, or at least seen by as few people as possible. Marcus's villa is at location IV on your map.
