Episode 1.2.a

>Vesuvius Gate, Pompeii, Italy, 79 CE<

Marcus left something behind in his hurry: a piece of paper, dropped in the grass near the road. You pick it up and look it over. It is a rough diagram, hand-drawn, marking the location of a villa somewhere in the city. It has to be the villa of Sextus.

The streets of Pompeii are busy and loud. You push through the crowds, following the diagram.

The villa is not hard to find. What is harder to explain is the man standing outside it, red-faced and shouting.

Marcus. He arrived here first.

"Sextus Aemilianus will give me the Lapis!" he is telling no one in particular. "He has no choice!"

There is a rock in the road. There is a fallen branch nearby.

Prompt: Help Sextus by driving Marcus off.
