Episode 1.1.b

>Outskirts of Pompeii, Italy, 79 CE<

The man's eyes narrow. He doesn't buy the name that you provided.

"My name," he says quietly, "is Marcus."

He has a way of saying it that makes the name sound like a warning. He falls silent, thinking.

Something moves in the branches of a nearby tree. A boy is wedged up in the higher limbs, watching the whole scene with wide eyes.

"My name," the boy calls down, before anyone can stop him, "is Tiberius."

That was a mistake. Marcus turns toward the tree, and his expression hardens.

"Where is the Lapis?" he calls up. "The Lapis is mine. Hand it over."

Marcus's back is to you now. His attention is fixed on the boy.

Prompt: Help the boy escape. Confuse Marcus by telling him different things about Tiberius's location (for example: "Tiberius is on the road! Tiberius is in the field! Tiberius is a dog!") until he runs off in frustration.
