Episode 2.2: To the House of Marcus Maecenas

 

"servī sumus," inquit Bellātor. "vīnum ā Marcō mandātum habēmus."

 

custōs spectat ad Recentiōs. spectat circum Recentiōs. spectat ad viam prope Recentiōs.

 

"nōn," inquit custōs, "urnam videō."

 

custōs rīdet. vultus malignus est, sed vultus quoque dīcit, "mihi nōn vērum placet esse custōs."

 

custōs vōce dīcit, "ubi est vīnum? estne in gastribus vestrīs?"

 

Octāviāna ad Bellātōrem spectat, et Bellātor ad Octāviānam.

 

Bellātor, "minimē!" inquit. "urna… urna est iam in trīclīniō, sed…"

 

"sed" inquit soror "necesse est nōbīs urnam aperīre. urna clavem habet. Marcus īrātus futūrus est, cum vīnum nōn ventūrum est ex urnā!"

 

vultus custōdis "vīta mea taediōsa est" inquit. "semper stō prō iānuā et semper custōdiō. numquam moveō. semper spectō ad hominēs ambulantēs in viā sed semper egō stō. ēheu. est nihil."

 

custōs malignē rīdet. vōce dīcit, "intrāte vīllam, ō meī amīcī iuvenēs."
