Sextus quaestiōnem Octāviānae intentē audit.
“Marcus,” Sextus rēspondet, “in vīllā magnificā Pompēiīs habitat. pictūrae pulcherrimae per totam vīllam sunt! in peristȳlō est pictūra optima! Venus est in pictūrā. Venus est dea pulcherrima et formōsa… et… vīlla nōn est procul. necesse est vōbīs ambulāre ad palaestram. vērē, Marcus prope palaestram amphitheātrumque habitat!”
“saepe,” Sextus inquit, “Marcus ad amphitheātrum it quod placet eī spectāculum vidēre! placet Marcō animālia et gladiātōrēs spectāre. sed, ēheu, est nullum spectāculum hāc nocte. Marcus fortassē amīcum visitat et in vīllā nōn est?”
"dein?" rogat Sextus tandem. "quaestiōnēsne habētis?"
