Episode 1.3: At the House of Caecilius

Octāviāna "grātiās māximās agimus," inquit, "ō Caecilī, prō optimā cēnā!" Recentiī cum Tiberiō ambulant ē trīclīniō. Octāviāna et Bellātor habent duo cubicula: unum prō sorōre et unum prō frātre.

 

in trīclīniō Caecilius rīdet. sibi dīcit, "Recentiī bonī iuvenēs sunt! mihi vērum placent."

 

Caecilius spectat ad clientēs circum mūrōs stāntēs.

 

"ō servī," inquit dominus, "date cibum cēnae relictum clientibus meīs."

 

clientēs mappās habent. capiunt cibum et in mappīs pōnunt. clientēs tunc mappās claudunt

 

clientēs Caeciliō grātiās magnās agunt et trīclīnium exeunt. portant cibum prō familiīs suīs.

 

paucus cibus remanet. Caecilius servōs in trīclīnium vocat et cibum servīs dat. servī Caeciliī sunt laetī.

 

Caecilius sē putat esse dominum optimum.
