"nōn opus est tuā probātiōne," inquit Octāviāna. "nōs nōn ad tē vēnimus."

 

Sinistrus stetit. rīsus discessit. vultus eius plānus factus est.

 

"hoc est... trīste," inquit.

 

nōn erat īra. nōn erant verba dūra. erat aliquid peius: Sinistrus nōn iam crēdēbat eīs. eōs breviter spectāvit, deinde sē āvertit et ad iānuam spectāvit, Caecilium exspectāns.

 

Bellātor aliquid dīcere coepit. Sinistrus nōn respondit.
