Episode 1.1: The Boy in the Tree

 

senex malus dē nōmine cōgitat. senex nunc est īrātus. respondet, "nōn est nōmen tibi! tū es mendax! nōn crēdō tibi!"1.1b

 

Octāviāna mussat, "senex est īrātus quod nōmen nōn erat vērum."

 

Bellātor respondet, "ita, sed erat nōmen bonum... ēheu!"

 

"mihi," senex malus inquit, "nōmen est Marcus." Marcus est malīgnus. vōx est malīgna.


"iuvenēs mē nōn dēlectant!" addit Marcus. malus tunc cōgitat.

 

est arbor in agrō. puer est in arbore. est pila prope arborem.

 

Bellātor Octāviānae dīcit, "cūr est puer in arbore? estne puer bonus? cūr Marcus adest?"

 

"mihi," puer inquit, "nōmen est Tiberius."

 

Marcus audit. "ubi est Lapis?" senex malus inquit, "Lapis est mihi." Marcus nunc ad Tiberium spectat.

 

Octāviāna sibi cōgitat, "Marcus est malīgnus. necesse est nōbīs adiuvāre Tiberium."

 

Octāviāna Bellātorī dīcit, "necesse est nōbīs adiuvāre Tiberium! celeriter! necesse est nōbīs dīcere rēs falsās!"


 quōmodo Octāviāna respondet?

 

Option A: "puer," inquit Octāviāna, "est in agrō! minimē! puer ad montem currit!"

 

Option B: "puer," inquit Octāviāna, "est in viā! minimē! puer ad Pompēiōs currit!"
