"nōn ita. sī digitō ostendis et dīcis 'tū es Achillēs,' omnēs negābunt. Achillēs quoque negābit. et rēx nōs iterum pūniet."

 

Odysseus per aulam spectāvit. puellae iterum sedēbant; Dēidamīa adhūc īrāta erat.

 

"oculīs sōlīs Achillem invenīre nōn potestis. multae puellae fortēs sunt, multae altae. hoc nihil probat."

 

Odysseus Recentiōs spectāvit.

 

"melius est cōnsilium callidum. cōgitāte: quid Achillēs amat quod puella nōn amat? sī rēctum dōnum in mēnsā pōnētis, Achillēs sē ipse ostendet."
