Recentiī ante omnēs rēgēs stābant. omnēs tacēbant. tum Octāviāna dīxit:

 

"rēgēs Graeciae, audīte! Paris hospes Menelāī erat. ad mēnsam Menelāī cēnāvit. tamen fidem hospitī frēgit et Helēnam rapuit. hoc iniūstum est!"

 

Menelāus mēnsam pulsāvit. "vērum est!" clāmāvit.

 

Octāviāna perrēxit: "fidēs sacra est. sī Paris poenam nōn dat, quis fidem nostram posteā timēbit? ūnītī esse dēbēmus. pugnāre dēbēmus."

 

Agamemnōn sceptrum sustulit. "bene dīxistis," inquit. "Graecī ad bellum eunt!"

 

omnēs clāmābant. Odysseus lentē adnuit; Nestor oculōs clausit et suspīrāvit. Bellātor, prope sorōrem stāns, nihil dīxit, sed eam superbus spectāvit.
