Episode 4.3: TSTT-training: The Fall of Troy

Octaviāna ante Aenēam stat. "Aenēā, audī!" dīcit. "tū pugnāre vīs. intellegimus. sed cōgitā: quis post tē vivit?"

Aenēās nōn respondet.

"pater tuus, Anchīsēs, senex est. ambulāre vix potest. quis eum ex urbe portābit? māter Creūsa. fīlius parvus, Ascanius. eōs quis servābit?"

Aenēās oculōs claudit.

"sī tū hīc morieris, Anchīsēs quoque moriētur. Creūsa quoque. Ascanius quoque. nōn sōlum tū cadēs, sed omnēs quī tē amant."

"tū nōn sōlum mīles es. tū pater es. pietās tua nōn est morī. pietās tua est servāre."

Aenēās Octaviānam spectat. lacrimae in oculīs sunt. per flammās spectat. domum suam vidēre vult.

tum lentē dīcit: "Anchīsēs... pater meus..."

Aenēās gladium dēpōnit.

"ītē mēcum. celeriter."
