Bellātor mercātōrem rogāvit: "quantī est tunica?"

mercātor tunicam ostendit. tunica erat nova et pulchra.

"haec tunica," inquit mercātor, "est bona tunica. pretium est decem denāriī."

decem denāriī! pars pecūniae.

 quid Bellātor agit?

Bellātor pretium plēnum dat. "decem denāriōs dō," inquit.

Bellātor minus rogat. "septem denāriōs dare volō."

Bellātor multō minus rogat. "trēs denāriōs dare volō!"
