Octaviāna hastam in oculum mōnstrī iēcit. hasta oculum percussit! mōnstrum clāmōrem māgnum fēcit et in mare fūgit.

 

Octaviāna laeta erat. "ego mōnstrum vīcī!" clāmāvit.

 

sed Herculēs nōn erat laetus. Herculēs nihil fēcit. Lāomedōn ad lītus vēnit et Octaviānam spectāvit.

 

"haec puella mōnstrum vīcit!" inquit Lāomedōn. "nōn Herculēs. puella fortior est quam Herculēs!" Lāomedōn rīsit.

 

Herculēs īrātus erat. "ego hūc vēnī. ego mōnstrum vincere voluī," inquit. "nōn puella." clāvam ad terram iēcit et discessit.

 

Lāomedōn Octaviānam spectāvit. "tū equōs nōn accipis," inquit. "tū puella es, nōn hērōs."
