Octāviāna "ō custōs," inquit, "negōtium habēmus. necesse est nōbīs negōtium agere cum dominō tuō."

 

custōs vultum confūsum habet. 

 

"negōtiumne? quis vōbīs dīcit necesse esse ad hanc vīllam adīre?"

 

Bellātor spectat ad Octāviānam. vultus frātris dīcit, "quid nunc agāmus? custōs scit nōs negōtium nōn habēre."

 

sed Octāviāna rectē ad oculōs custōdis spectat.

 

"Caecilius," inquit, "dīcit nōbīs necesse esse hoc negōtium agere cum Marcō."

 

custōs vultum confūsum iam habet, sed consentit.

 

"quod negōtium cum Marcō habētis?" rogat custōs.

 


quid Recentiī agunt?

 

Option A: "clientēs Caeciliī," inquit Octāviāna, "sumus. tabellās habēmus. tabellae dīcunt Caecilium pecūniam Marcō datūrum."

Option B: "clientēs Caeciliī," inquit Bellātor, "sumus. vīnum habēmus. necesse est dominō tuō vīnum temptāre."
