"ō Sexte," inquit Bellātor, "nōn necesse est nōbīs scīre plūs aliud. praeparātī sumus!"

 

Octāviāna consentit et Sextō grātiās agit. Bellātor quoque Sextō grātiās agit.

 

“valēte,” Sextus inquit, “cum potentiā Lapidis īte et bonam fortūnam habēte!”

 

Recentiī ē vīllā exeunt et in viā ambulant. lūna plēna in caelō lūcet. nullī nimbī in caelō sunt. aura, tepida et lenis, movet, ut Recentiī per viās eunt.

 

mediā nocte viae Pompēiōrum sunt paene vacuae hominibus. Bellātor et Octāviāna ad palaestram adeunt.

 

“ō Bellātor,” Octāviāna rogat, “putāsne nōs facile intrāre vīllam?”

 

Bellātor rēspondet, “ita. sumus hērōēs! nōbīs erit facile capere ā sene volūmen! nōn timeō custōdēs!”2.3guard

 

Bellātor pugnum in āërem tollit. Octāviāna nōn habet similem confīdentiam.

 

prope palaestram est canis ferus. canis Recentiōs videt et celeriter fugit. nēmō sē exercitat in palaestrā nocte.

 

“ecce!” Octāviāna tacitē dīcit. “est vīlla Marcī!”

 

malus vir stat prope iānuam. malus gladium habet. malus quoque scūtum habet. malus portam custōdit. malus est custōs Marcī!

 

“quid nōmen est vōbīs?” rogat malus ferōciter. “egō sum custōs! egō custōdiō vīllam! cūr adestis? vōs nōn intrātūrī estis!” malus gladium dēstringit.

Option B: Octāviāna "ō custōs," inquit, "negōtium habēmus. necesse est nōbīs negōtium agere cum dominō tuō."
