Episode 2.1: The Titanomachy

 

Cerēs sē vertit et ab Echidnā currit.

 

Plūto clāmat, "mē spectā, ō Echidna!" manūs tollit, et potentiam mortis monstrat: ventus frīgidus dē manibus fluit. ventus monstrum ingentem capit, et ad deum mortuōrum Echidnam vertit.

 

Cerēs potentiam suam scit. iam nōn currit: dea sē vertit. "Echidna," inquit Cerēs dūrā vōce, "famem habē!"

 

herbae subitō ē terrā surgunt. herbae tamen nōn sunt viridēs sed fulvae et pedēs Echidnae capiunt.

 

vultus Echidnae timidus est: famem sentit ut numquam anteā. in terram cadit.

 

Cerēs soror et Plūto frāter manūs victōriā tollunt.

 

Jūppiter ad sorōrem frātremque spectat et rīdet. “Cerēs,” inquit, “et Plūto sunt fortēs. necesse est mihi mittere Echidnam ad locum longē absentem.”
