Episode 1.3: At the House of Caecilius

Octāviāna "grātiās maximās agimus," inquit, "ō Caecilī, prō optimā cēnā!" Recentiī cum Tiberiō ambulant ē trīclīniō. Octāviāna et Bellātor habent duo cubicula: ūnum prō sorōre et ūnum prō frātre.

 

in trīclīniō Caecilius rīdet. sibi dīcit, "Recentiī bonī iuvenēs sunt! mihi vērē placent."

 

Caecilius spectat ad clientēs circum mūrōs stāntēs.

 

"ō servī," inquit dominus, "date cibum cēnae relictum clientibus meīs."

 

clientēs mappās habent. capiunt cibum et in mappīs pōnunt. clientēs tum mappās claudunt

 

clientēs Caeciliō grātiās magnās agunt et trīclīnium exeunt. portant cibum prō familiīs suīs.

 

paucus cibus remanet. Caecilius servōs in trīclīnium vocat et cibum servīs dat. servī Caeciliī sunt laetī.

 

Caecilius putat: "dominus optimus sum."
