Episode 1.3: At the House of Caecilius

Octāviāna pōtiōnem rogat. servus pōtiōnem in pōculum fundit. tandem pōculum Octāviānae plēnum est.

 

pōtiō rubra est. Octāviāna anxia est. vultne bibere pōtiōnem?

 

bibit paulum dē pōculō. pōtiō vīnum est, cum melle. dulcis et dēliciōsa est! Octāviāna plūs bibit dē pōculō!

 

Octāviāna spectat ad Caecilium. nōn certa est: dēbetne Caecilium dē Lapide rogāre? Octāviāna ōs aperit, tum claudit. dēbetne rogāre?

 

intereā, Caecilius spectat ad Bellātōrem. "ō Bellātor," inquit Caecilius, "putō tē esse fortem iuvenem!"

 

Octāviāna plūs bibit dē pōculō. nunc certa est: dēbet rogāre dē Lapide.

 

"ō Caecilī," inquit, "shcīshne dē Lapide antīquō?"

 

Caecilius spectat ad Octāviānam et rīdet. "ō Octāviāna," inquit, "nōn dēbēs plūs vīnum bibere!"
