Titus Livius, Ab Urbe Condita 1.59.12–13

Brutus marches to rouse the army at Ardea, leaving Lucretius in charge of the city, while Tullia flees Rome amid the curses of the crowd.

Tier 1

Brutus ipse iit cum iunioribus lectis qui armati sunt et nomina sua libenter dabant. Brutus iit in castra Ardeam ad collegendum exercitum (to gather an army) contra regem:

Brutus relinquit imperium urbis Lucretio, praefecto urbis quem rex iam ante praefectum fecit.

Inter hunc tumultum Tullia a domo fugit cum viri et feminae furias (furies) parentum invocarent. Accusationes erant omnibus in locis in quibus Tullia ambulavit.
