Titus Livius, Ab Urbe Condita 1.58.7

Lucretia tells the assembled men what has been done to her, declares her mind innocent though her body was violated, and demands they pledge to punish the offender.

Lucretia lacrimat cum pater et vir adveniunt. Vir eius interrogat "esne salva?" Lucretia respondet "minime, nam, sine pudicitia, quid salvi est feminae?

Collatine, vestigia viri alii sunt in lecto tuo, sed tantum corpus violatum est, animus meus est innocens; mors erit testis.

Sed promitte mihi adulterum punitum iri.
