Titus Livius, Ab Urbe Condita 1.57.10–11

Collatinus welcomes the men as the contest's victor, but that same evening Sextus Tarquinius is seized by a violent desire for Lucretia, provoked by her beauty and her very chastity.

Tier 1

Vir domum adveniens et Tarquinii bene accepti sunt; victor maritus, Collatinus, invitat regios viros domum suam.

Ibi, mala libido stuprandae Lucretiae per vim (of raping Lucretia) capit Sextum Tarquinium;

Et forma et castitas Lucretiae Sextum Tarquinium excitat. Deinde viri in castra redeunt ab nocturno ludo.
