The wedding of Iunia and Manlius is announced, and Hymenaeus is further invoked to leave his sacred haunts and attend.

veni Hymen quia Iunia nubet Manlio,

 

Iunia, bona virgo cum bono omine,

 

sicut Venus venit ad Paridem, Troianum iudicem,

 

velut Asiana myrtus lucens floridis ramulis

 

quos nymphae arborum nutriunt aqua ut myrtus sit ludicrum nymphis.

 

age veni huc,

 

linque Aonia cava quae sunt in montibus Thespiae,

 

quos Aganippe nympha frigidos facit rivo suo.
