Quintus Horatius Flaccus, Carmina 1.2.45-52

Horace prays that the god, revealed as Caesar, may return late to heaven and long rejoice among the people of Quirinus, and that here on earth he may love to be called father and first citizen and not allow the Medes to ride unpunished under his leadership.

Tier 1

Tu redeas post multos annos in caelum et diu tu sis laetus inter populum Quirini, neve celerior ventus portet te iratum nostris vitiis;

potius quam illud tu adsis hic ad magnos triumphos, tu ames hic dici pater et princeps, neque tu, Caesar, sinas Medos equitare sine poeniis, te duce.
