Titus Livius, Ab Urbe Condita 1.60.3

Livy records that Lucius Tarquinius Superbus reigned for twenty-five years, that the total period of kings from the founding of Rome to its liberation was two hundred and forty-four years, and that two consuls were then elected by the centuriate assembly under the direction of the city prefect following the records of Servius Tullius: Lucius Iunius Brutus and Lucius Tarquinius Collatinus.

Tier 1

Lucius Tarquinus Superbus rex erat xxv annos.
