Gaius Valerius Catullus, 70 "On a Woman's Faithfulness"

Catullus says that his girl claims to want only him, but that what a women says can’t be trusted.

puella mea dicit, sed id quod puella dicit cupido amanti scribendum est in vento et rapida aqua.
