Gaius Valerius Catullus, 54 "To Caesar: Otho's Head"

Catullus wants to send more displeasing poems to Caesar.

caput Othonis est nimis minimum

 

et crura Hirri sunt rustica et semilauta

 

ventus ex ano Libonis est subtile et leve,

 

si omnia haec tibi non displicent, vellem displicere tibi et Fufidio seni recocto …

 

irascere iterum meis versis iratis qui meritum non habent, o unice imperator.
