Catullus insults Mamurra’s girlfriend, Ameana, for even being compared with Lesbia.

amica Mamurrae qui pecuniam suam non habet.

 

provinciane dicit te esse formosam?

 

Lesbia mea comparatur cum te?

 

o stultum tempus!
