Gaius Valerius Catullus, 33 "To Vibennius: An Insult"

Catullus insults Vibennius and his son for stealing from the bath houses and being a man whore respectively.

o optime virorum qui alienas res e balneis abstulerunt, pater Vibenni et fili qui penes in ano accipit,

 

nam pater habet manum sordidam et filius anum voracem,

 

cur non itis exilium et in malos locos?

 

omnis populus sicut patrem esse furem , et fili, tu non potes vendere anum tuum uno asse.
