intereā Aenēās ascendit scopulum quod dēsīderāvit spectāre pelagum. voluit quaerere Anthea aut Phrygiās birēmēs aut Capyn aut arma Caīcī. Aenēās prōspicit nūllam nāvem sed prōspicit trēs cervōs in lītore. tōta armenta sequuntur hōs cervōs et aliī cervī comedunt herbās per vallēs.

 

Aenēās capit arcum et sagittās manū. prīmum mittit sagittās in ducēs quī habēbant capita alta cornibus arboreīs. tum miscet vulgus, agēns turbam tēlīs in silvam. Aenēās fundit septem ingentia corpora in terrā. Aenēās currit ad portum et dīvidit cervōs inter omnēs sociōs.
