sīc Neptūnus dicit et celerior quam dictum, ille plācat mare, dispellit nubēs, et redūcit sōlem. Cȳmothoē et Trītōn removent nāvēs ē saxibus. Neptūnus ipse tollit aliās nāvēs tridentī atque aperit vāstās syrtēs. tunc ille temperat mare simul agit currum super undās.

 

ac velutī in magnō populō cum sēditiō surgit, et vulgus est iratum et habet facēs et saxa. furor providet arma; tum cōnspexērunt virum, quī habet gravitātem, et silent et audiunt. ille regit animōs verbīs et plācat pectora.

 

sīc omnis fragor maris cecidit. postquam pater Neptūnus, prōspiciēns mare sub apertō caelō, vertit equōs et agit currum ab illō locō.
