prīmā lūce Recentiī surrēxērunt. in vīllā Sextī erant.

 

Sextus eōs spectāvit et rīsit. "bene fēcistis!" inquit. "dē Hercule multum dīdicistis."

 

sed deinde vestēs eōrum spectāvit. vestēs veterēs et foedae erant.

 

"vestēs vestrae sunt foedae," inquit Sextus. "nōn bonae sunt. novās vestēs dēbētis parāre."

 

Sextus pecūniam eīs dedit. vīgintī denāriōs Octaviānae dedit, et vīgintī denāriōs Bellātōrī dedit.

 

"ad forum īte," inquit. "ibi mercātōrēs sunt. mercātōrēs rēs multās vendunt. vīgintī denāriī satis sunt — sī bene agitis."

 

Sextus eōs spectāvit. "sed sī pretium plēnum semper datis, vīgintī denāriī nōn satis erunt. dēbētis bene rogāre!"
