Salvius libenter Potentibus servit, vultque esse ipse potentior, sed nōn vērum intellegit dē Lapide. Salvius ōlim audīvit dē Lapide, sed verba dē Salviō volāvērunt, quod putābat dē gladiīs nitidīs. nam Salvium gladiī nitidī dēlectant, vultque quam plūrimōs gladiōs nitidōs habēre. libet in manū capere gladiōs nitidōs ferīreque aliōs virōs. vērum etiam nunc, dum sedet in tablīnō, Salvius cōgitat dē gladiīs nitidīs.

Throughout Mission 7, you have encountered -que attached to the end of pairs of words.  This is simply an alternative to “et” when an author wants to use the word “and”.  The -que is always added to the end of the second word and it usually means that the two words are very closely linked, often a stronger connection than just “et”.

-que can also link sentences together.

Sinistrus ē sellā surrexit vōsque salutāvit.
Sinistrus got up out of the chair and greeted you.
