Episode 14.2.b
>The Praetorium of the Societas Potentium, Aegyptus, 80 CE<
When the last of the guards has fallen, Marcus calls for more. They run to him with their swords raised, and Marcus laughs across the court at you.
"Foolish children," he calls. "You cannot beat me."
Then you hear another voice, and you know it. It is Tertius.
"I will always keep you safe, Recentii!" he shouts, and lifts his sword.
A third voice cuts across his. "That I cannot allow. The Lapis is mine! It is not theirs!" You know this voice too, at once. Sinistrus is here.
Tertius does not look toward him. His eyes stay on Marcus and on the guards. "Who said that?" he asks. "I see no one else."
But you see Sinistrus, and you hear him. "Blockheads, every one of you!" he says. "You have led me to the Lapis. Now its power is mine to take!"
The door to the final chamber is beginning to close.
Prompt: Stay and fight beside Tertius against Marcus, or try to reach the final chamber before the door shuts.
