Salvius has brought you out of the library into the atrium. He stops in front of the lararium but does not yet turn toward it.

No one loves the republic more than the Salvii do. But an empire needs an emperor. Agrippa, Augustus, and Gaius, Marcus's grandfather, gave us power. Is that not so?"
Tiberius stands a little apart, his eyes on the floor.
