Episode 10.2.a
>Villa of Salvius, Southwest of Londinium, Britannia, 81 CE<
You are so deep in the passages that you miss the commotion in the atrium. You do not miss Salvius. No one could.
"I gave the order! I said, 'Watch the young ones!' And now I hear they are loose in the house. Did you not watch them? Are they not in the library?"
The door bangs open. Salvius takes in the room with a single look, and he understands what he sees. He crosses it in three strides and pulls the map out of Tiberius's hands.
"Didn't I know it? Tiberius comes home from Egypt. Strangers turn up in my house. And it's Lapis business, isn't it?"
Then he sees his daughter. "I told you never to set foot in this room! You wretched girl!"
Salvia looks straight back at her father. She does not lower her eyes.
Prompt: Come up with an explanation for what is going on in the library that a Roman would find believable. You are Tiberius's guests; think about what a man like Salvius would accept.
