Episode 9.1.a

>Farm of Sinistrus, Southwest of Londinium, Britannia, 81 CE<

You wake on your back in wet grass. Sheep are grazing a little way off, unbothered, and above you the sky is the flat grey of Britannia. Of Sinistrus's building there is no trace at all: no glass walls, no foundations, not so much as a patch of turned earth. Only the field, and the sheep, and the sky.

Then the pain reaches you. It sits deep in your upper arm, between elbow and shoulder. You look, and there on the skin is a mark, red and raised, burned in the way masters brand a mark into slaves. The mark is a stone flanked by two lightning bolts.

A crackle sounds in your ear, and it is a sound you have not heard in a long time. Mission Control is back.

"Operative, Mission Control here. We're glad to say we have you back in navigation. Our sensing processes indicate a strange alteration in your electrocarnal net. We're going to have Septimus check that out for you. He's on his way, and he'll debrief you about what happened during that glitch back there. Sit tight."

The new mark on your arm glows, clear and bright. As you watch it, a face forms inside it, and the face is Sinistrus's. He smiles and says nothing. Then he winks, once, and is gone, and the mark goes cold, and the pain goes with it.

Prompt: Decide among yourselves, the Recentii, in your team forums only, what you are going to tell Septimus.
