uterque exercitus pugnavit ferociter. nostri milites potuerunt neque ordines servare neque firmiter stare neque signum invenire. alii milites cogebant ad aliquid signum quod invenerunt et omnēs milites perturbabantur. hostes conspexerunt singulares Romanos ex navi egredientes et incitabant equos ut Romanos circumsisterent. alii iecerunt hastas ad Romanos. ubi Caesar id animadvertit, milites iussit ut parvas naves complerent. alios milites ut adiuvarent iussit. cum nostri in arido starent, contra hostes pugnaverunt et hostes fugerunt. nostri sequi longe non possunt quod equites insulam capere non potuerunt.
